stocking your book at Farrells

Please note: Consignment submissions will only be considered between February and September each year.

So you’d like to see your book on the shelf at Farrells…

Firstly, congratulations on your book!

We are approached by many authors hoping to see their book stocked in our shop. As we are a small business and space is at a premium, we curate our collection carefully to ensure that the books we stock are in keeping with our community of readers.

We do accept submission requests from authors published outside of the main book distribution channels on consignment terms, but they must either be written with a focus on the Mornington Peninsula or by an author who currently resides on the Mornington Peninsula, and must have been published within the last 6 months. Any older published titles will not be considered.

If you would like to submit a book for consideration, please complete the below Consignment Stock Submission form. If we believe your book sounds like something that would fit well with our collection, we will contact you to request a copy of the book for review by our head buyer. They will then determine if the book will be taken on consignment.
