About the Illustrator Ana Sender was born in Terrassa, Barcelona, Spain. As a child, she loved to draw, write, and imagine all kinds of stories. Then she grew up (although just a little bit) and studied painting and illustration at Escola Massana in Barcelona. Her dreams have always played an important role in her work; she lives a second life there that she tries to remember when she wakes up. She likes werewolves, surrealism, and swampy places.
